Programs
Members of the FBI C.A.A.A.-SF understand the importance of the community’s need to have available to them accessible, pertinent and topical information regarding safety strategies, civic issues, and personal development. We recognize that education is the key to confront the many issues and challenges of our global society. Consequently, our goal is to deliver relevant programming that promote community safety, enhance quality of life, and encourage youth development.
Some of the programs sponsored by the FBI C.A.A.A.-SF are:

FBI Youth Academy at Miami Dade College North Campus
The FBI Youth Academy consists of an intriguing mix of classroom, laboratory, outdoor, and field trip activities for
5 days, the culmination of which is an awards ceremony and banquet. Students will gain a full awareness of the
required education and training for specific careers with the FBI and the law enforcement arena over-all.
Criteria for this year’s event were:
- Must be a high school junior or senior during the 2008-2009 school year
- Must possess a 2.5 or higher GPA
- Must complete online application, essay
- Must secure one teacher recommendation
- Must have parental consent to partake in program
